Whether seeking to process fresh poultry, beef and pork products or delicatessen-focused cured meats, bone-in-ham or whole chickens, smaller processors often come up against the same hurdle: cost. With this in mind, JBT has launched the Schöder IMAX ECOLINE Injector, a budget-priced system containing all the quality associated with the Schröder name.
Especially developed for small and medium-sized businesses, the IMAX ECOLINE comes at a favorable entry price and with low operating costs in the basic version, but, crucially, is equally effective across a wide range of processed meat products. More than this, the IMAX ECOLINE features a proven, robust drive concept combined with a thoughtful hygienic design; all recognized hallmarks of Schröder injectors.
“The ECOLINE has been developed for smaller, cost-conscious processors or for those who might just be starting out in the business,” explains David Hayden, JBT’s Marination and Cured Meats Product Manager for North America.
Available in three sizes, the machine was introduced in 2021 in response to global demand from smaller processors for a solution that could meet their budgetary and production needs. The range of sizing also accommodates the requirements of processors in Europe and Africa, where product sizes are typically smaller than those seen in the Americas. “These machines are designed to be more flexible to meet the needs of small to medium-sized companies,” says Hayden.
Another solution designed to complement the IMAX ECOLINE is the BRIMAX brine preparation system, a mixer developed for the production of all types of brine used in injection procedures. Available in a range of sizes, the BRIMAX maintains a standardized product quality under the most stringent hygiene requirements. Uniquely, it also features software, which has been developed and refined using years of experience, that performs, controls and documents the entire system, as the operator.
The IMAX ECOLINE and BRIMAX – along with a range of other JBT Schöder and Wolf-tec solutions – will be on display from May 14-19, 2022 in Hall 8.0, Stands G06 & H06 at IFFA, the annual protein industry trade exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany.
