JBT will be showcasing its innovative solutions for the poultry industry at the largest event of its kind for the sector in Morocco – Dawajine 2019 – which takes place in the city of Casablanca from November 26-28. The three-day exhibition covers every aspect of poultry processing from farming equipment through to processing, cooking, coating and packaging; all areas in which JBT is well represented.
As Kalid Saou, JBT’s Area Sales Manager for North Africa, explains, what sets Dawajine apart from other trade events of its ilk is the fact that it gives a real representation of the integrated nature of the poultry industry in Morocco; an industry where the company supplying the animal feed is often the same company doing the farming and the processing.
Kalid Saou says JBT will be taking the opportunity of having a presence at the show to highlight existing solutions for further processing, including the GYRoCOMPACT, which can efficiently freeze everything from pan fried chicken through to raw chicken breast and other pieces, as well as Schröder massaging technology and injectors, the industry standard for performance, consistency and reliability.
JBT will also be highlighting one of the newest members of the JBT family, Prime Equipment Group, which became part of the company in June 2019. A manufacturer of turnkey primary and water re-use solutions to the poultry industry, Prime Equipment offers everything from quality control to chilling, deboning, skinning and portioning.
“Morocco is an important market for JBT and in terms of the poultry industry, it is really growing,” says Kalid Saou. “JBT has so many solutions we can provide to support poultry processors, from coating and cooking through to frying and freezing, that we will be highlighting at the show.”
